Pay Card Information
1. Assigning Pay Cards
To enter a pay card for an employee’s banking information in TalentReef or Data Link,
select the pay card option and the routing number should automatically fill in. If not, the
routing number for the US bank cards is 071004200. The account number is the 13-digit
number starting with 600 found in the window of the pay card envelope. You can also
find this number by adding 600 to the 10-digit Card ID on the bottom left corner on the
back of the pay card itself. Do not use the 16-digit card number as the account number.
2. Pay Card Registration and Activation
Every Monday and Thursday at 2:00PM CST, we upload a file to US Bank’s website with every
employee who was assigned a pay card in the last 10 days. This process is what ties the
employee’s information to a pay card so that they can activate it. If an employee was
recently assigned a pay card and is unable to activate it, please have them try again
after the Monday or Thursday upload time has passed. If they are still unable to activate
their card after waiting, please email payroll@datalinkis.com for help.
3. Pay Card Funds Transfer
If an employee loses their pay card, we are unable to transfer funds to a
checking/savings account, but we can transfer any remaining funds to a new pay card
you assign them. Please send an email to payroll@datalinkis.com with the employee’s
name and their new pay card account number, and we will deactivate their lost card and
transfer any remaining funds to the new unregistered card. Please do not enter the new
pay card in TalentReef or Data Link without contacting our team first, as funds can only be
transferred to unregistered pay cards.
4. Need More Pay Cards?
The pay card website is set to automatically order 25 more pay cards when you have 25
cards or less remaining that are not assigned to employees. If you have not received a
new shipment after a week, it is possible some pay cards assigned to employees were
not registered before the employee quit, so the US Bank online inventory no longer
reflects your actual inventory. If you believe this is the case, please email
payroll@datalinkis.com with a list of the card IDs for the pay cards you do have (if you
have zero pay cards, please let us know immediately) and we will remove all other pay
cards from the online inventory by deactivating them. Please be certain you do not have
any other pay cards, as once a pay card is deactivated, it can never be used if found
later and will have to be discarded.
